"Fostering Community Connectedness"
We acknowledge the Tulgigin clan of the Yugambeh / Minyangbal people, the traditional owners of these lands.
The historic villages of Piggabeen and Cobaki are nestled amongst rolling green pastures, bountiful waterways and sub tropical rainforests, and together with Cobaki Lakes comprise the two northernmost valleys of New South Wales.
These Valleys are truly a unique place - no shops or heavy industries and only a ten minute drive from Tweed Heads, the Gold Coast Airport and fabulous golden beaches stretching from the Gold Coast in the north, to Byron Bay and beyond in the south.
The Valleys are home to the Piggabeen and Cobaki Community Association Inc, hereafter called the Association, who has as its vision, Fostering Community Connectedness.
The Association manages the historic Piggabeen Hall. The Hall is the hub of local community events as well as being available for hire (Piggabeen Hall Hire - TC's and Application V2) by third parties to raise funds to maintain the Hall. It is also home to well attended annual events including Piggabeens Got Talent, Piggabeen Art Show, and Bushies Ball. See “What’s On” for details of upcoming events...
Full membership of the Association is open to all residents of Piggabeen, Cobaki and Cobaki Lakes. Associate membership is open to residents from surrounding 2485 and 2486 postcodes. Membership is $5 per annum or $20 for 5 years, and applications forms are available here PCCA Membership Application Form.
All residents are encouraged to join the Association and join the Facebook Page, a great place to connect and keep up to date with current issues/happenings https://www.facebook.com/groups/314968740028311/. Members are able to vote on Association matters, enjoy reduced rates when hiring the Hall and are able to advertise on the site for free.
